BLE unveils Gaming Activation Area plans for 2017

Expanded Brands & Lifestyle Theatre Programme also confirmed as visitor registration goes live.

A number of new visitor activations have been confirmed for Brand Licensing Europe.

Among these will be a special Gaming Activation Area on the show floor. This will serve as an interactive space for demos and competitions, as well as highlight the potential of gaming at retail, from concept to store.

Elsewhere on the show floor, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, Sega, Capcom, Activision Blizzard, King and The Pokémon Company are among the global gaming giants already confirmed to exhibit in October.

In addition, this year’s show will also boast an expanded Brands & Lifestyle Theatre Programme. This will include more sessions each day, as well as interactive performances and demonstrations each morning.

There will also be a newly revamped Product Showcase.

The show will be welcoming its biggest ever sports line-up too, with confirmed exhibitors including FIFA, Juventus Football Club, Dakar, Tour de France, PSG, Rugby World Cup 2019, Dorna Sports and Kitkase.

Anna Knight, BLE brand director, said: “We are so excited to be rolling out these new initiatives for visitors to BLE in October. Gaming is a huge untapped market – one we know our visitors will really benefit from discovering.

“And this year’s educational programme is our most comprehensive yet – unmissable for both buyers and manufacturers whether new to, or already familiar with, the power of licensing in business.”

This year’s Brand Licensing Europe will run from October 10-12 at London’s Olympia. Visitor registration is now open – simply click on this link to head to the official website.
