Blueprint adds Pingu to portfolio

New collection for classic brand includes stationery, plush and gift items.

Mattel has confirmed that Blueprint is to launch a new range featuring the classic Pingu property.

The collection will include a wide variety of stationery, plush and gift items. It is currently available from Amazon, TruffleShuffle and Temptation Gifts.

Originally created in 1986 by Swiss filmmaker Otmar Gutmann, Pingu has been viewed by over one billion people across 140 channels and has won numerous awards.

Recently, Pingu has ventured into the world of fashion and has enjoyed collaborations with British designers Phiney Pet and The Rodnik Band.

This has seen the character immortalised on premium leather handbags, phone cases and even has his own fashion line worn by the likes of Ella Eyre.
