Golden Goose welcomes Virginie Sergent

Brand consultancy appoints former Ubisoft executive as its new account director.

Golden Goose has welcomed Virginie Sergent as its new account director.

Virginie (pictured) joins the brand consultancy from video games publisher Ubisoft, where she spent five years as EMEA consumer products director.

As part of her role, she developed new business and product ranges for video games in a variety of categories including internal development of figurines as well as apparel, toys and games, accessories, publishing and stationery.

Her initial focus at Golden Goose will be on adding licensees to the Original Stormtrooper licensing programme.

Golden Goose’s director, Adam Bass, said: “We are working on some exciting new projects that will play to Virginie’s strengths and her ‘entertainment and merchandising-side’ experience will help us grow our successful licensing programmes – in particular the Original Stormtrooper programme which now extends across multiple categories and is ripe for European expansion.”
