Hamleys to host Star Wars Weekend

Retailer dedicating May 6 and 7 to franchise with raft of activities planned.

Hamleys is dedicating a full weekend to all things Star Wars, with the retailer planning a raft of activities for its flagship London toy store.

Running on Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7, the initiative will include photo opportunities, competitions, a chance to test out the new Bladebuilder Lightsabers, chase a radio controlled BB-8 around the store and surprise visits.

Children dressing up as their favourite Star Wars character can win a number of prizes, while there will be extra prizes for any grown ups who wish to join in.

The retailer will also be offering up to 25% off Star Wars toys during the weekend.
