LIMA readies for Mind Mix in Milan

Two-day event will feature execs from CPLG, Brandgenuity, Zodiak, Grazia Italy.

Trade body LIMA is gearing up for the second of its Mind Mix events, taking place later this week in Milan, Italy.

The two-day event – which runs on March 30-31 at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers office in Milan – will feature a raft of moderated discussion groups, networking opportunities and a retail panel and retail walk-through.

A keynote session – World Business Climate & Forecast – will be given by PwC’s Massimo Pellegrino, while a selection of high profile execs will be taking part in other roundtable discussions across the two days.

These include Brandgenuity Europe’s Teri Niadna, Naz Amarchi-Cuevas from Zoobe Message Entertainment, Jean-Philippe Randisi from Zodiak Kids, LIMA’s Maura Regan, Joachim Knodler from CPLG, Margaret Briffa from Briffa Legal, Philippe Guinaudeau from Kidz Global, former Sanrio coo Roberto Lanzi (now at Crazy Bell) and Silvia Grilli from Grazia Italy.

Topics will include the psychology of consumers and brands, fashion licensing, trends in animation, emerging retail business models in licensing and how kids and adults adopt brands among others.

“Licensing drives strategic business activity and thinking, and we’re bringing together some of the biggest thinkers in the world of brands. This kind of high-level discussion and exchange of ideas is essential to business planning,” said Charles Riotto, president of LIMA.
