Noveltex adds Betty Boop & Rachael Hale

Textile specialist looking to make in-roads in the licensing space with brace of signings.

Textile specialist Noveltex is looking to build up its presence in the licensing industry, adding the Betty Boop and Rachael Hale brands to its portfolio.

The company was established in 2013 as a wholesaler and distributor of household textiles.

It made its first foray into licensing in 2014, with its first licence being Alchemy Gothic, which director Mahmood Shafi says has enjoyed a good response.

The company is now looking to expand its portfolio of licences. It is also a distributor for Character World and its Disney and Marvel bed linen, as well as Dreamtex.

The new Betty Boop range of duvet covers and matching curtains include Superstar and Picture Perfect designs, while there are also three designs of beach towels.

The Rachael Hale collection comes in two designs, meanwhile, Misty and Mac for cat lovers and Luke and Leia for dog fans.
