PAW Patrol expands with new adventure game

PAW Patrol Pawsome Missions launches online, while Christmas special planned for December 11.

Nickelodeon is continuing to offer new ways for fans to engage with the hit PAW Patrol brand – launching a new game online, while also revealing plans for a special Christmas episode.

PAW Patrol Pawsome Missions has launched today (November 17) on Nickjr.co.uk and lets children create avatars of themselves and get to work alongside Ryder, choosing their physical appearance and outfits.

There are 12 initial adventures, with players getting the chance to explore Adventure Bay, meet characters, collect paw points and a role-play a day in the life of the PAW Patrol. Gamers can also use the Pup Pad just like Ryder, collaborating with different pups for specific quests.

Suzie Adams, digital director at Nickelodeon UK & Ireland, commented: “PAW Patrol Pawsome Missions is an excellent way for preschoolers to develop their problem-solving skills in an exciting and playful manner. We hope to delight kids with their transformation in the digital world through the avatar creation and how the pups transform throughout the game.

“This interactive game demonstrates our commitment to developing immersive experiences for our audiences in a fun and relevant way.”

Meanwhile, the eagerly awaited Christmas special – The Pups Winter Wonder Show – will air on Nick Jr on December 11 at 5pm.

A new range of toys has also been launched which will be exclusive to retailer Smyths until Christmas Day. These include PAW Patrol Mission Paw Chase, PAW Patrol Mission Cruiser and PAW Patrol Mission Vehicle Sky.
