Smiley supports Rays of Sunshine Christmas party

UK-based charity supports seriously ill children across the country.

Last weekend saw Smiley teaming up with the Rays of Sunshine charity for its annual Christmas party at the Hilton, London Wembley.

The UK-based charity grants wishes and hosts outings and events for large groups of seriously ill children across the country.

This year’s Christmas party was one of the biggest yet, with more than 600 people attending.

They took part in a range of activities including build a reindeer, hook a Christmas duck, snow dome making and dance competitions, as well as receiving a visit from Santa.

Gifts donated by Smiley included apparel, stationery and toys.

Speaking about the event and partnership, Smiley’s marketing director, Matt Winton, said: “We are extremely proud to work with Rays of Sunshine, who are a likeminded charity who share our vision.

“Our ceo Nicolas Loufrani is very clear in why we do what we do as a business and that is because we make the world a happier place. It’s a great mission and at this time of year there is no greater way to utilise our resources.

“We hope to have more exciting announcements to make next year with this amazing charity.”
