Relive last week’s industry showcase, networking events, panels, star performers and more.

Last week’s Brand Licensing Europe was another major success, with thousands of execs packing into London’s Olympia for the three-day showcase.

The entertainment presentations, news, star performers, brands to watch and deals came thick and fast, with something to suit pretty much everyone on the show floor.

Notably, brand director Anna Knight told The Source that visitor numbers on the first day were up, while the popular Matchmaking service had 2,950 meetings confirmed.

In addition – just like Licensing Expo earlier in the year – the Monday is becoming an increasingly important day for extra events and networking. LIMA held its third annual industry panel session at the House of Commons, while Universal Brand Development, Fox Animation and Sanrio were among the brand owners holding events for partners.

LIMA’s popular Garden Party – held once again at the Kensington Roof Gardens – was a major draw, while the MTV Bar proved a good location for both international and European visitors to wind down after a day at the show thanks to Nickelodeon.
