A sneak peak at the finishing touches which will make tomorrow’s big night extra special.
With just over 24 hours to go until The UK Licensing Awards 2017, we thought we’d give you a sneak peak at just some of the details which will give tomorrow night’s event that added sparkle.
As you head into The Grosvenor – clutching your ticket gorgeously designed by Hallmark – you will be greeted by Bing in the cloakroom area (thanks Acamar) before heading into foyer entranceway, transformed into an Enchantimals forest wonderland (courtesy of Mattel).
Amscan will have lent its magic touch to the drinks reception so you can get the evening off to a sterling start.
Now, with 1,400 of you in attendance, finding your seat might need a bit of magic, so it’s lucky that Sooty and friends will be on hand on illuminated table plans (thanks BWI).
Once at your table – with numbers sponsored by 24IP and Pokémon and Character World dressing the seats – there is bound to be a bit of wrestling over who takes home the impressive WWE centrepiece. But fear not, as there will be plenty of other goodies on the table (including Miraculous masks and My Little Pony headbands among others).
It’s certainly worth checking out the limited edition Licensing Legends Top Trumps (thanks to Winning Moves), while we also have a challenge for your brain cells courtesy of Mr Men Little Miss, with the characters also having taken over the toilets (thanks to Corsair).
As well as the raffle, there are a host of other prizes up for grabs. DHX Brands is giving guests the chance to win £500 with a special scratch card competition, while Wow Stuff will reward one captain on each table with one of its Star Wars Holoplanes.
After the awards – hosted this year by Katherine Ryan – there will be the chance to hit the dance floor with Freight Train, flex your vocal chords in the Karaoke Room (thanks to Those Licensing People) or take to the tables at the GB eye Casino.
Then don’t forget to pick up your bumper goody bag before continuing the fun at the After Bar Bar, co-sponsored by PowerStation Studios.
It’s going to be one helluva night…
