Busy Licensing Works grows Millimages brands in the US

Agency secures Aurora World as master plush licensee for Molang in the territory, plus adds Pirata & Capitano to portfolio.

US-based licensing agency Licensing Works has strengthened its relationship with production and distribution studio Millimages and its brands in North America.

First up, the agency has signed Aurora World as the master plush licensee for the territory for Molang.

The company is planning to introduce the new line in early 2021, with plush product being available in a range of sizes and price points for the character.

It will include every day, seasonal and feature plush across all formats with inspiration coming from all four seasons of programming, as well as the 1,000+ GIFs which have achieved over 8+ billion views on GIPHY.

“Molang is an endearing global sensation, with fans of all ages from all over the world,” said Michael Kessler, svp of sales and marketing at Aurora World. “Aurora is excited to welcome the beautiful friendship of Molang and Piu Piu to the Aurora brand portfolio.”

Leslie Levine, owner and founder of Licensing Works, added: “Aurora’s values are very much aligned with the Molang brand, so we are thrilled to have them join the Molang family.”

In addition, Licensing Works’ relationship with Millimages has been further extended as it becomes the US agent for preschool brand, Pirata & Capitano, which it will debut as part of Licensing Week Virtual.

Licensing and promotional partners are being sought in all key categories including toys, collectables, plush, costumes, games, puzzles, publishing, apparel and accessories, party goods, consumables, home and room décor, as well as QSR promotions and advertising tie-ins.
