Character World welcomes Hayley Maguire

Former Hasbro exec joins licensee as head of business development.

Character World has welcomed a new head of business development in the form of Hayley Maguire.

Hayley (pictured) joins the ambitious homewares licensee after spending more than seven years at Hasbro as global senior director creative and product development.

In her new role, Hayley will be leading the way driving new business and product opportunities around Character World’s vast licensed portfolio and own label range due to launch in 2020.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for both myself and Character World,” commented Hayley. “We have a fantastic team at Character World, with amazing brand and retail partnerships that we will continue to expand and strengthen.

“We are already working on some truly innovative products and are planning on some fantastic launches over the next couple of years.”

Danny Schweiger, joint md at Character World, added: “We have some exciting and ambitious plans for Character World over the coming years.

“Hayley brings a wealth of talent and experience to the business and is really going to help us thrive in our next phase of Character World.”
