High street chain has taken inspiration from upcoming movie with a selection of curated edits.
Debenhams is encouraging shoppers to open the gates to the enchanted world of The Secret Garden, thanks to a new partnership between the retailer and the upcoming movie.
The high street chain has taken inspiration from the film – which is a reimagining of the celebrated novel – choosing a series of edits with a floral theme.
Mailshots and a strong presence on Debenhams’ website – which includes a trailer for the StudioCanal film, along with interviews with the team behind it and sketches of the set – are helping to boost the tie-up.
Debenhams has highlighted inspiration within fragrance (with scents which conjure up the great outdoors), clothing – including floral dresses and sleepwear – plus Mother’s Day gifts and tropical homeware from the Lucy Tiffney brand, with features colourful palm trees and cheeky monkeys.
The Secret Garden is due to hit cinemas on April 10.
