Don’t forget – Friday 11 November is The Light Fund deadline for charity proposals

The licensing industry charity, The Light Fund, is now accepting applications for funding from any registered charity organisation whose beneficiaries are children, women or men.

All UK registered charities (concerned with helping men, women or children) in the UK and/or overseas are invited to submit proposals for distinct projects they would like to be considered for funding from The Light Fund.

In the case of charities operating outside of the UK, they must have a UK registered charity number to be considered for The Light Fund funding.

Registered charities may submit their proposals for prospective projects for 2023 that they would like to have funded. You can apply by clicking here – all applications should be received no later than Friday 11 November.

The charity project proposals should be for £5,000 (or less) and if funded, should be completed in 2023.

This year, following the very successful English Channel relay swim challenge as well as other fundraising efforts, The Light Fund has over £300,000 to put to good use funding charity projects.

“The UK licensing industry should feel proud of itself,” Trevor Jones, chairman of The Light Fund, told LicensingSource.net. “In these troubling times, it has come together and raised a record amount of much needed cash for The Light Fund. Everyone who has attended an event, been a sponsor, organised a fund raiser, undertaken a physical challenge or bought a raffle ticket has played their part in this landmark year.”
