TDP Textiles joins programme for Bang on the Door brand in milestone anniversary year.
DRi Licensing has added a new partner for the Groovy Chick brand, as Bang on the Door looks to mark its 30th anniversary in 2018.
TDP Textiles will be launching nightwear, underwear and daywear for tweens and adults.
The relaunch of the girls’ brand will target both the original audience – now in their 20s – and the core four to nine age group.
Alicia Davenport, licensing director at DRi, commented: “We’re delighted that as Bang on the Door prepares to turn 30, we can celebrate the brand’s success by welcoming TDP to the licensing programme.
“The new collections will appeal both to young girls who are being introduced to the brand and to the 20-somethings who have fond memories of Groovy Chick from their youth.”
Groovy Chick was created in the 1990s by design studio Bang on the Door. The brand attracted 80+ licensees and generated a multi-million pound business across multiple product categories.
