emoji company adds Handcraft to partner roster

Retail Monster brokers new deal for underwear collection, launching this spring.

The emoji company has teamed up with premium children’s undergarment brand, Handcraft Manufacturing, in a new deal brokered by its US licensing agent, Retail Monster.

The new underwear collection will feature some of the emoji brand’s most vibrant icons and designs for boys and girls aged from two upwards.

The line will debut from May in Walmart stores across the US, before expanding into Target, Amazon and other retailers in the autumn.

“We are certain that our ability to portray this brand is limitless,” said Marshall Mizrahi, vp of Handcraft. “We look forward to a successful partnership as we work to amplify the longevity of the emoji brand.”

Marco Hüsges, ceo and founder of the emoji company, added: “Handcraft is the leading children’s undergarment manufacturer, with best-in-class relationships across retail and licensing. We couldn’t think of a better partnership as we continue building this iconic brand at retail.

“Because the brand is rooted in expression, we are sure that the product line will delight our youngest fans, who are already learning to engage and communicate daily through icons.”
