Enesco welcomes Phil Atherton as its new sales director

Phil joins the licensed gift specialist from Portmeirion Group.

Licensed gift company Enesco has welcomed a new sales director in the shape of Phil Atherton.

Phil (pictured) joins the company from Portmeirion Group where he held the role of group sales and marketing director. During his eight-year tenure at the company, sales grew from £55 million to £93 million.

He was previously with John Cotton Home textiles for 14 years, where he similarly oversaw significant sales growth. Before that he held senior sales management positions in the drinks trade with Remy Martin, Gaymer Group and Allied Domecq.

“I am looking forward to working with the team at Enesco and to identifying and growing the many opportunities we have,” Phil commented. “The fantastic brands and products within the Enesco portfolio have huge potential across the whole of EMEA.”
