Eye-catching new mission for Danger Mouse at Tesco

Fremantle Kids & Family strikes deal with Galaxy Optical for new frames in Tesco Opticians.

Fremantle Kids & Family has secured a new deal with Galaxy Optical, which will see a range of Danger Mouse inspired frames arriving in Tesco Opticians.

Available from this month in 206 stores, the range will include a choice of 12 different Danger Mouse designs accompanied by a bespoke glasses case.

From August 26, for four weeks, dedicated promotional activity will also be running and will include POS, gift-with-purchase, competitions and more.

The deal was struck by agency Brand & Deliver.

Tessa Moore, svp global brand management at FremantleMedia Kids & Family, said: “Danger Mouse has captured a whole new generation of fans since its launch on CBBC.

“With the second series launching on CBBC ready for the new school year, we are thrilled to be working with Galaxy Optical on this exciting new partnership. We’re sure our young fans  will enjoy this brand new range of frames.”

Maurice Miller, chairman of Galaxy Optical, added: “At Galaxy Optical we understand the important role vision plays in a child’s development. We want children to be excited and proud to wear their glasses.

“Through our partnership with FremantleMedia and Danger Mouse we hope to achieve this.”
