Fanattik picks up gaming accolade

Pop culture brand, Fanattik has been named Best Licensed Gaming Gifts & Collectables Designer 2022 in the SME News’ Business awards.

“The first video game we created product for was Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves back in 2018, since then we have launched ranges of gifts and collectibles for many iconic video games such as Streetfighter, Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Banjo Kazooie and more,” commented Anthony Marks, md of Fanattik.

The company’s products are popular in high street retailers including HMV and Game, as well as pop culture specialists throughout Europe and beyond.

Melissa Tudor, the company’s creative director, continued: “It’s roughly an even split between the film and video game merchandise we are licensed to create. However with so many gamers on the team when there was a vote in our HQ for which piece of kit was most needed, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 4 player arcade machine won, and now stands proudly in our showroom.”

The company recently celebrated its 15th anniversary year, with a private screening of Jurassic World, for which it is also a merchandise partner. The cinema was decked out in Jurassic style with plants, film props and even a Jurassic Park jeep.
