Finsbury Food Group and Universal Studios cook up renewal deal

Finsbury Food Group has secured a renewal of its partnership with Universal Studios for a new range of celebration cakes.

Alongside current favourites such as Minions, Gabby’s Dollhouse and Jurassic World, Finsbury Food will also be introducing new cakes to its roster including celebration cakes for movie blockbusters like Wicked.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to continue this relationship with Universal,” commented Andrew Scott, brand licensing manager at Finsbury Foods. “Having performed immensely well in retail, the effort that has been put into making the partnership successful has shown in the quality of the products. Working with Universal Studios to bring these cakes to life has been a pleasure, and with new additions to the line, we can keep our finger on the pulse of what consumers really want.”

Launching in late September, Finsbury is particularly excited about its new Wicked cake, which will arrive ahead of the next movie, Wicked: For Good.

Andrew continued: “We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes on this for a while, ensuring it’s a cake that not only resonates with the film’s core fanbase but can be enjoyed by all – there’s a lot to look forward to this year and the next.”
