Forbidden Planet teams with Cloudco for new Care Bears collection

Care Bears fans can now find exclusive apparel and giftware at pop culture retailer, Forbidden Planet, following a new partnership with Cloudco Entertainment.

Launching in time for the Easter break, the collection has been designed for nostalgic adult fans and features a range of apparel and accessories including t-shirts, hoodies, sew-on patches, enamel keyrings and pin badges.

There is also a variety of giftware such as art prints, postcard packs, mugs, tea towels, magnets and travel pass holders.

A second range of Care bears merchandise is set to launch later in 2025, with more details to be announced soon.

The deal between Forbidden Planet and Cloudco was secured by Bulldog Licensing.

“Forbidden Planet is the perfect home for this Care Bears collection, bringing together fans who love nostalgia and pop culture,” commented Bethan Garton, senior retail manager, EMEA at Cloudco Entertainment. “This collaboration is a great way to celebrate the brand’s enduring appeal and give longtime fans something truly special.”

Anthony Garnon, head of pop culture at Forbidden Planet, continued: “It’s impossible not to love Care Bears. Our range captures this unique brand perfectly – it’s cute, colourful and will bring a smile to all our customers’ faces.”
