Licensee reveals next stage of global publishing programme for Epic Games’ hit brand.
Hachette Book Group has revealed the next stage of its global Fortnite publishing programme.
The licensee’s programme for the Epic Games brand enjoyed huge success in the run up to Christmas 2018, with over 100,000 Official Fortnite Calendars sold in the UK in just six weeks, as well as over 350,000 items of stationery printed globally in the run up to the festive season.
Internationally, ten major foreign rights deals have already been signed: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Hungarian, Russian, Danish, Swedish with more to follow.
This month, Hachette will be launching the first Official Fortnite Battle Royale Survival Guide – a book which will help gamers of all levels of experience and skill get even more Victory Royales.
At the same time fans will be able to note down their gaming exploits with the Official Fortnite Battle Journal – a day-by-day log book. The Official Fortnite How To Draw book which features step-by-step drawing instructions will publish in July, along with the Official Fortnite Outfits Collector’s Edition and Official Fortnite Supply Drop Collector’s Edition.
The latter two will include detailed collections of the best and most-loved outfits, weapons, general loot and vehicles.
Hachette will also be launching the Official Fortnite 2020 Calendar and Official Fortnite 2020 Diary in July.
Further titles are also being planned for the second half of the year.
