Hasbro grows partnerships for Peppa Pig nightwear and more in the UK

Hasbro is teaming up with two high profile fashion partners for Peppa Pig licensed nightwear in the UK.

Cooneen by Design will continue to supply nightwear, underwear and swimwear throughout the UK for the preschool brand, while TDP/Aykroyds is also now on board for nightwear and underwear.

For Cooneen, the deal marks a milestone in its history as it celebrates over 18 continuous years as a Peppa Pig licensees – a relationship that has delivered record growth over the years.

“Peppa Pig has been at the heart of the Cooneen portfolio for so many years, it’s in our DNA,” commented Ellie Griffiths, head of licensing at Cooneen. “This new agreement is testament to our commitment as a partner to keep ranges fresh and exciting, appealing to each new generation of Peppa Pig fans. 2023 will see a number of new products introduced to our offering and we are delighted to continue our Hasbro partnership building towards celebrating Peppa’s 20th year in 2024 and beyond.”

TDP, meanwhile, has been a licensee for Peppa for over 15 years on a number of products. Dean Greasley, director of licensing, commented: “I’m delighted to be deepening our relationship with the amazing CP team at Hasbro, by adding both nightwear and underwear on this wonderful brand.”

Rob Broadhurst, commercial director at Aykroyd & Sons, added: “We are absolutely delighted to further expand our long-standing partnership with Hasbro and, at long last, add Peppa nightwear to our portfolio of esteemed brands. Peppa Pig is a brand the whole team adores and we’re excited to begin working on the many exciting retail activities we have planned to wow fans of this charming icon to kids.”

Sally Carnota, senior director of UK licensed consumer products at Hasbro, concluded: “We have such an exciting year planned for Peppa Pig with brand new content dropping throughout 2023, and we couldn’t be happier to continue our partnerships delivering new and innovative ranges based on everyone’s favourite preschool character Peppa.
