Jacqueline Wilson to speak at the V&A

Popular author to chat about her characters and work on Saturday January 30.

Dame Jacqueline Wilson is to give a special talk at the Victoria & Albert Museum later this month.

The popular author will be discussing her books and her characters – including how she created Hetty Feather – at an exclusive membership event at the museum on Saturday January 30 from 2pm to 3.45pm.

The session will take place in the Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre.

Jacqueline is the creator of characters including Tracy Beaker and has written more than 100 novels. In 2002 she was awarded the OBE for services to literacy in schools, and is also a former Children’s Laureate.

A successful licensing programme is handled by Start Licensing.
