Jardinopia bringing Aardman characters to Glee

Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep join company’s Potty Feet family.

Garden lifestyle company Jardinopia is gearing up to unveil its new Aardman collection at Glee 2019 next month.

Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep have been immortalised in a new range of pot feet as part of an exclusive global licensing deal.

Three sets will be unveiled at Glee – which runs from September 10-12 at Birmingham’s NEC – two showcasing Wallace & Gromit undertaking gardening tasks and one for Shaun the Sheep.

Jardinopia launched into the UK market 18 months ago and the deal with Aardman has been six months in the making.

“We’ve had such a great success with our generic Potty Feet ranges, that we felt now was a good time to investigate the licensing route to market,” said Jardinopia’s Tony Barnett. “Aardman was an obvious first choice for us. As a fellow South West-based company, and one that has brought joy to millions of homes, we knew the fit was right.

“We’re excited to be working with them and hope these exclusive ranges can both help put Potty Feet firmly on the global map and prepare the ground for additional global licensed Potty Feet ranges that we will be launching in spring 2020.”

Rob Goodchild, head of licensing at Aardman, added: “It’s great to be working with independent, creative businesses such as Jardinopia as we look to extend our licensing programmes in the home and garden categories.

“We hope these products will bring a smile to the faces of Aardman fans everywhere.”
