Matt Stent arrives as European commercial director, while Samantha Bourne is named European licensing director.
As part of its ambitious European growth strategy, Jazwares has further expanded its EMEA team.
Matt Stent has joined the company as European commercial director, following almost two decades at Argos and Sainsbury’s, most recently as buying manager for sports, leisure, outdoor toys and nursery.
Matt will be responsible for growing Jazwares’ business in Europe both through its regional offices and third party distributors. He will report to Jonny Taylor, svp Europe.
In addition, Samantha Bourne has been appointed as European licensing director, bringing a wealth of experience from her role as head of licensing and brand at Rubie’s Masquerade.
Reporting into global vp of licensing, Sam Ferguson, Samantha’s role will focus on ensuring Jazwares delivers commercial value and results to global licensing partners, as the business continues to grow.
In addition to both of these appointments, Jazwares has expanded its UK team with a further ten hires to fill newly created positions across licensing, sales, marketing, operations and business intelligence.
