This is a unique opportunity to join an award-winning licensing agency and dynamic and collaborative team, working across a fantastic roster of entertainment, pre-school, lifestyle and special interest brands.  The Rocket portfolio includes Beano, Horrible Histories, Rocky, The Elf on the Shelf®, Miffy and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Rocket currently manages licensing programmes for these brands and others, on behalf of leading entertainment studios and licensors including: Beano Studios; Hat Trick International; Kodak, Legendary Entertainment; Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM); Scholastic; The Joester Loria Group/The World of Eric Carle; The Lumistella Company and Toho Company Limited.

Responsibilities include: management of all product development and marketing/event approvals and liaison between property owners and licensees;  approvals record keeping; maintenance of style guide library; pro-active communication with licensees regarding creative announcements; creating sales materials, website updates,  and presentations and trade show/marketing materials;  managing the design and build of Rocket’s Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) stand; creation of monthly reports for presentation to the Rocket team; preparation and presentation of product development slides at Rocket licensee days and updates for Licensors; managing submissions for licensing awards and support in development of style guides for licensees.

Aside from proficiency in Word, Excel and PPT, experience in working with key product approval portals such as Mediabox, Workfront and Brainbase is important.  Ability to handle some tech queries surrounding approvals and asset portals and understand print methods along with knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop would be beneficial.

The right candidate will have excellent communication skills who can work under pressure and to deadlines as well as with an attention to detail.  They will be well organised, systematic and be able to find a balance between the commercial and the aesthetic.

The position is a hybrid role with a split between remote and office working. There will be a requirement to attend some launch and licensee events, client meetings and trade show. Further information on Rocket is available at www.rocketlicensing.com.
