Job description: Licensed / Brand Manager

Bioworld International Ltd is an industry leading licensee, based in the UK and working across Europe, driving significant growth opportunities in both licensed apparel, accessories and wearable tech across all sectors to existing and new customers. Based on the same site as sister company NJ Screen Prints Ltd in Hinckley, NJ is the UK’s leading volume screen printer of garments to retail and trade.  Boasting leading edge printing technology and excellent relationships with high street retailers, major supermarkets, and premium clothing bands as well as in the licensed product arena.

This role is responsible for providing support to the Bioworld International team and requires an experienced, enthusiastic and self-sufficient licensing candidate.

The role holder will be comfortable delivering in a fast-paced environment and working to short lead times, an accomplished organiser who can manage multiple products, across a range of customers, and timescales, working to deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  This role demands a highly organised and self-motivated individual who can manage their time whilst offering flexibility in what is a demanding, customer led environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to your success, as you will be responsible for all aspects of brand / licensor management, working with all areas of the business from the Commercial Sales team, to Production and Designers.

The key responsibilities of the role include the day to day contact with licensors, managing all aspects and requirements for individual brand and properties. Responding promptly to communications and taking appropriate actions to ensure all needs are met.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the maintenance of accurate and up to date information on company systems and the critical path.  Other ongoing duties include:

  • All approvals of packaging to production
  • Style guide / asset management
  • Co-ordinating product launches
  • Querying new techniques and new methods of working with licensors
  • Liaising with licensors on new properties in order to obtain new licenses
  • Filling out forecasts on behalf of sales on for current licensors
  • Submitting proposals for any new licenses
  • Liaising with the individual brand managers in the US

 

To be successful in this role you will be numerate and very well organised, you will need advanced computer skills, excel and diary management will be a daily tool.  If you cope well under pressure and thrive on change and variety this could be the role for you.

If you also have experience of working in a marketing role it will be a distinct advantage
