Do you want to be part of the most exciting story in the Games Industry right now? Do the names ‘Catan’, ‘Arkham Horror’, ‘KeyForge’, ‘Ticket To Ride’, ‘Dobble’ and ‘Pandemic’ get your heart racing? At Asmodee Entertainment we are looking for a stand-out candidate to join our licensing team as we engage with ambitious goals that take us far beyond our heartland of boardgames and into the world of Publishing, The Media, Consumer Products and Location Based Entertainment. The world-famous game brands above are just a few of the properties you will be working with as you seek and deliver opportunities principally in the Consumer Products and Licensed Publishing categories mainly in the UK and Europe.
Are you excited by the idea of identifying and negotiating with key potential licensing partners and agents as we develop a broad portfolio of varied new products and experiences based on our amazing intellectual properties? Asmodee owns hundreds of IPs and you will not be short of compelling opportunities!
You will be working as a key member of the small Asmodee Entertainment team based in Nottingham, UK, as well as coordinating closely with our North American operation. Working to our agreed IP roadmaps plus reacting to the many unplanned opportunities and approaches as they arise, you will seek out and secure the best licensing partners to help us deliver our goals. Prepared to travel as required and to be the face of Asmodee Entertainment at relevant industry shows, you will also work closely with the Asmodee studios, finance and legal teams to ensure we deliver the best deals.
The challenges in this job will be to relentlessly focus and deliver on the agreed priorities, to doggedly track down the best opportunities, to immediately bounce back when a deal goes south, to simultaneously juggle many prospects, to make sure all the boring contractual details are nailed own solidly and to always keep a clear eye on the prize when faced with the countless exciting possibilities that lie ahead of us.
You will be joining us near the start of this epic journey, with plenty of wide-open space to go for. Make your mark!
To apply for this position, please do take the time to craft a letter which really explains what makes you tick, who you are and why this is the job for you. By all means send in your latest, up to date C.V. as well.
We look forwards to hearing from you!
Please send applications to Vanessa Jack by email by close of play Friday 22nd November.
