The Role

TSBA is looking for an experienced, sales-focused and determined individual to join the team and help grow global sales for its roster of clients including Transport for London, the National Portrait Gallery, the Natural History Museum and The Open. Working in a fast-paced environment, this role works with licensees, brands and retailers to negotiate and manage innovative, relevant, product and collaboration deals to propel the licensing programmes of our licensor portfolio. This role will involve travel from time to time within the UK and overseas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Global Licensing in the roll-out of brands’ strategies that deliver against key objectives and achieve revenue targets.
  • Developing and closing opportunities across licensed product categories while evaluating the licensee base to ensure effective and focused growth across categories.
  • Actively managing relationships with licensees to monitor performance and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Delivering against financial targets and providing regular updates on prospecting pipeline.
  • Attending all relevant industry events to develop relationships and seek out opportunities.
  • Working with Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Finance and other functions within TSBA, along with brand owners, to move business and product opportunities forward.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of the market and general competitive environment, including trends and key drivers in retail and product advancements.
  • Working effectively as part of the team and delivering workload in an organised and timely manner.
  • Communicating professionally, both internally and externally, on email, phone and in-person.


Key Expectations:

  • Minimum five years’ experience of working in the licensing or consumer products business.
  • A proven record of delivering revenues and profits against a P&L.
  • Experience in identifying and developing commercial and strategic business opportunities.
  • Experience in pitching brands and products to licensees and retailers.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals in an entrepreneurial environment and to develop strong working relationships with brand owners and clients on a global basis.
  • Highly developed and proven brand management skills.
  • A positive and pro-active team player with an ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proven and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Occasional UK and overseas travel required.
