Are you passionate about bringing rich, edgy, niche brands to new and bigger audiences by licensing them into new product categories, territories and retailers? Games Workshop is a FTSE 250 company with retail sales of licensed products hitting £117 million last year, and we are also already a Top 150 global licensor. Are you the person to help us enter the top 50?

We’re looking for an experienced licensing professional to hit the ground running and generate significant new opportunities for brand exposure and revenue growth. You will also liaise with key existing licensees, ensuring they are maximising revenue whilst making sure that every opportunity is taken to expose Games Workshop’s IP to a new audience.

Your focus will be on physical products – merchandise, consumer products and collectibles and you will spearhead our relatively new efforts to forge direct relationships with retailers around the world. You will use your existing network of contacts in these industries to tirelessly generate opportunities and take responsibility for them right through contractual negotiations and on to day-to-day management of the business relationships that you build.

Doing all of this will require developing many different relationships globally, both internally and externally, ensuring that our partnerships are commercially successful for all parties. You will uphold GW’s reputation as a great licensor at all times.

We know what makes this job hard is the relentless need to talk to anyone about anything at any time, whilst staying cheerfully energetic and focused on developing great long-term partnerships that result in great products. The ideal candidate will also be excited by the challenge of demonstrating the financial value our IP offers prospective licensees and retailers in territories and industries where it is currently less well known.

This role will be based at our global headquarters in Nottingham, England and some international travel will be required to attend trade shows and visit licensees.
