Is this the role for you?

Support Head of CP Marketing to develop and complete outstanding retail & consumer campaigns that raise awareness and drive product sell-through.

What will you be doing?

Develop and Deliver CP Retail Marketing Strategy

  • Working to build marketing plans by franchise, retail, and line of business that which drives awareness, product sell-through and delivers incremental revenues.
  • Build positive relationships across key retailer marketing teams to understand their marketing objectives and promotional mechanics.
  • Working with agencies / internal creative teams to develop and deliver assets needed to deliver online and in-store retail marketing campaigns.
  • Drive all aspects of retail marketing campaigns (from strategy to execution) for 3 allocated accounts.


Brand Decks and Sales Insights

  • Update brand decks and sales one sheets as requested.
  • Draft and issue monthly CP newsletter to licensees, retailers and key internal partners.
  • Track content brand performance metrics across VOD/ Linear/Social and YouTube.


Social, Paid Media & Influencers

  • Working with local and global social teams to integrate CP into owned and operated social media channels.
  • Implement paid social media campaigns, responsible for maintaining calendar of activity, development of creative assets and agreement of media buy working with appointed media agency.
  • Lead all aspects of influencer campaigns.
  • Establish and Track KPI’s for each activity. Working with licensees/ retailers to measure ROI.


Brand Partnerships

  • Support CP Head of Marketing in the implementation of Brand Partnership campaigns.


Content Planning

  • Liaise with programming & update CP teams on programming and marketing plans across platforms.


Marketing Budgets

  • Set up suppliers, raise purchase orders, action intercompany charges and work with Head of CP marketing to track monthly marketing budget.


Marketing wrap up reports & Competitor Analysis

  • Deliver quarterly wrap up marketing reports outlining approach, reach and performance of all campaigns.
  • Establish regular competitor reviews, gathering competitor retail specific activity.


Trade Activity (Events, Advertising , Awards, Press)

  • Work with Head of CP to complete key trade events i.e., Brand Licensing Europe, UK Licensing summit invites, event management, presentation, event follow up.
  • Track trade advertising calendar & working with global creative team to deliver creative ahead of deadlines.
  • Track and write submissions to enter relevant trade press awards.
  • Work with internal corporate PR team & licensees to maximise trade press coverage for key initiatives & product launches.


Consumer PR, advertising & Awards

  • Work with appointed consumer press agencies, internal PR teams & licensees to maximise digital and physical press coverage for key initiatives & product launches.
  • Lead the design & delivery of consumer facing adverts across each issue of 5X pre-school Magazines.
  • Track ViacomCBS consumer awards and monitor submissions.


Team & Culture

  • Champion and promote the needs of Consumer Products within broader organization (Channel/ Digital/ Events/ Research/ PR).


What are we looking for?

  • Straight-talker and clear communicator both internally and externally. Both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management & organizational skills.
  • Decision maker, able to creatively problem solve to get to a solution fast.
  • Financially literate, happy in excel and comfortable forecasting & tracking budget numbers.
  • Blue-sky problem solver. Able to build concrete ideas that excite and galvanize retailers and drive revenues.
  • Great Teammate. Spends time developing relationships across the organization.


Technical Skills: Comfortable with powerpoint, excel, mailchimp, google & Outlook.
