Job Purpose

Banijay Brands are looking for a Product Development Manager to join its Brand Licensing team.  The role will be responsible for ensuring the complete development of product ranges and experiences from initial creative execution to product launch including the oversight of in store retail campaigns, marketing, digital and social activities.

This is an exciting, fast-paced role in an established team at group level, working alongside local Opcos and other internal / external teams as necessary.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Product Development and will be part of Banijay Brands team based in London.

 

Duties

  • Management of product development with global partners to produce strategic, design led and on-brand quality products that will be a commercial success at retail.
  • Management of the complete launch process from product development to the oversight of in store retail campaigns, marketing, digital and social activities; working with internal teams accordingly.
  • Working with external design agencies and freelancers to create new and updated style guide assets to offer strategic, new and on trend commercial designs for licensees to sell in at retail with successful sell through.
  • Oversee the management of the digital library to ensure licensees are provided with appropriate creative assets for product development
  • Create brand and pitch presentations to support the commercial team. Includes competitor research, new development ideas, visualisation and mock-ups.
  • Act as brand guardian by ensuring all key partners follow established brand guidelines; and working with licensees and partners to interpret these guidelines in the creation of world-class products, experiences and promotions.
  • In house creative development of assets to include logos, graphics, brand decks, PowerPoint templates, product mock-ups etc.
  • Keeping up to date with design, fashion, and product trends to continually evolve and develop brand style guides and product development to benefit the business.

 

Knowledge & Skills

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a Product Development role
  • Familiar with the approvals process and approvals platforms
  • Experience within Adult/Lifestyle licensing is preferable

 

Skills/Attributes:

  • Fluent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Organised and efficiency focused whilst delivering best in class creative to drive our brands growth
  • A proactive, solution driven mindset to deliver against deadlines
  • Confident communicating and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Extremely strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team player, collaborative and flexible

 

Reporting to: Head of Product Development, Brand Licensing

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Hours: 9:30am – 6pm
