Job description:  

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week, 9.30am – 6pm per day (some flexibility – see below)
Salary: depending on experience
Contract: 10 months fixed term initially (Some flexibility maybe required, as this a Maternity Cover Contract)
Start Date: Mid-February 2021
Location: Initially Working from home and Gas Ferry Road Studios, Bristol

The Role:

Part of Aardman’s Sales and Marketing division, the Senior Brand Manager is responsible for implementing UK and international brand strategies for Aardman’s IP, maximising all activity surrounding the character brands. This role works closely with company stakeholders, reporting directly to Director of Marketing & Brand and working within a brand management team, alongside Studio Publicist, Community Managers, Licensing Execs, Distribution and Acquisitions and Attractions and Live Experiences teams.

This role will be responsible for the daily management of key Aardman IP as well as longer term planning and strategy to meet brand and business objectives.


The Person:

Candidates will need experience in planning and implementing global marketing and brand plans, ideally with hands on character and/or licensing experience. You will be no stranger to managing various projects at any one time. We’re looking for a creative thinker with proven experience in managing marketing and promotional campaigns. Applicants will need excellent organisational skills and experience of planning expenditure and tracking budgets.

For this maternity cover contract, we’re happy to discuss flexible working patterns, worked Mondays to Fridays. This role would be initially home working with a view to return to the Bristol office early 2021. Please could you confirm your proposed working pattern within your application.
