As a growing business we have exciting plans for the future and this new role is an essential part of making that happen. The core task is to manage the day-to-day workload going through the studio and tracking the various product development stages from initial concept through to final production samples.
Reporting into and assisting the Creative Director to manage the studio, you will be required to assign jobs to designers internally and externally and provide all the relevant information and assets required to complete the project. You will also ensure that other departments including Production, Sales and Licensing are kept up to date on the product development progress in order to keep things on track and hit critical deadlines.
You will be tasked with implementing effective ways of working, managing product submissions and tracking product approvals to ensure those deadlines are met. You will be required to estimate studio time to complete jobs, to ensure that lead times are achievable.
A good understanding of design, print and the world of licensed product approvals would be an advantage.
