Licensed lines win big at Gift of the Year awards

Signature Gifts and Fizz Creations among winners applauded at Spring Fair.

Licensed products from Signature Gifts and Fizz Creations were among the winners of the Gift of the Year awards (organised by the Giftware Association), announced yesterday (Sunday February 5) at Spring Fair.

The Personalised Ladybird Books for Grown-ups range from Signature Gifts (pictured) won two awards – Branded & Character Winner, as well as the Hot Novelty award.

The company’s personalised Beatrix Potter Little Guides were also Highly Commended in the Nursery category, while its Personalised Haynes Explains Manuals were also in the finals in the Branded & Character category.

Meanwhile, Fizz Creations’ Volkswagen BBQ Hamper won the Garden & Outdoor Living award.

Other licensed products receiving Highly Commended accolades included BFG Jump-Squiffling Giant Jigsaw (Lagoon Games); Matt Sewell gift range (Gift Republic); Designers Guild Collection (Heyland & Whittle); Sara Miller Collection (Casanova Home Fragrance); Ministry of Defence (Fizz Creations); Discovery Channel smartphone microscope (Paladone Products); Volkswagen Toaster (Fizz Creations); VW Campervan Pet Carrier (The Monster Factory) and The BFG Dream Jar reading light (That Company Called IF).

The products were judged by a panel of retailers and industry experts.
