Licensing International reveals finalists for 2025 Excellence Awards

V&A, LUSH, H&A, Born Licensing, Character.com, Primark and Royal Mail are among the UK companies which have been shortlisted in the Licensing International 2025 Excellence Awards.

This year’s Excellence Awards feature 209 finalists in 32 categories. More than 800 submissions were reviewed by a panel that includes 200 judges from 20 countries.

“The finalists for this year’s Licensing International Excellence Awards highlight the exceptional creativity in the global brand licensing industry,” said Maura Regan, president at Licensing International. “The finalists selected speak not only to the reach of the licensing industry, but to the calibre of the collaborations that have launched in the past year. Our congratulations go out to these finalists, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements at this year’s Excellence Awards ceremony.”

The winners will be announced during the Licensing International Excellence Awards ahead of Licensing Expo. The ceremony will take place on Monday 19 May at 5:30pm at HyperX Arena Las Vegas at the Luxor.

Licensing Expo will take place from 20-22 May at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

V&A has been shortlisted in Best Art, Design or Museum Brand; H&A‘s The Grinch collection has been shortlisted in Best Health & Beauty Product, alongside two entries for LUSH, for its Bridgerton and Wicked collaborations; Liberty Fabrics x Bridgerton is lining up in Best Accessories or Footwear Collection; while Character.com x SpongeBob SquarePants is in the running for Best Apparel, Accessories or Footwear Product for Entertainment Brands.

Born Licensing has received a nomination in Best Advertising Campaign Featuring a Licensed Brand for its work on the Sainsbury’s Big Christmas and BFG Campaign.

In addition, Royal Mail’s Spice Girls collection is in the running for Best Publishing, Social Expression or Back to School Product; while Primark’s Café Experiences and The Paddington Bear Experience are both nominated in Best Experiential or Location-Based.
