Licensing International UK confirms ‘speed pitching’ event

Event will take place at Hotel Football, Manchester on March 25, ahead of the Northern Light Fund Quiz.

Licensing International is offering licensees, retailers and promotional partners the chance to meet with a dozen of the UK’s leading licensors and licensing agents at a special ‘speed pitching’ event next month.

Taking place at Hotel Football, Manchester on Wednesday March 25, the event will run from 1pm until 5pm – ahead of the Northern Light Fund Quiz, which is taking place in the same venue later that evening.

Companies already committed to attend include Hasbro, Universal Studios, Brandgenuity, Metrostar Media, Start Licensing, Bulldog Licensing, Licensing Link Europe, Rocket Licensing, Brands with Influence and The Point.1888.

Licensees, retailers and promotional partners are invited to come along and get the latest updates post trade fair season, making sure they are up to date with key licensing opportunities for 2020 and beyond.

“This is a distinct Licensing International event – it is not being held on behalf of The Light Fund – but we’ve chosen this day in order to try to support the Light Fund Northern Quiz,” explained Kelvyn Gardner, md of Licensing International UK. “We know that many southern-based licensing execs find it hard to justify a day trip to Manchester and overnight stay even when supporting a good cause.

“Our event has been designed to offer a genuine and valuable business opportunity, providing all the justification anyone needs.”

Tickets to attend the Manchester Speed Pitching afternoon cost just £12 (including VAT) and include a buffet lunch and as many meetings as you can fit in.
