Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products UK and Ireland honoured a number of its licensees yesterday (16 January) during a special licensee showcase event.
Held at The Ned in London, the WBDCP team highlighted a raft of activity which will be taking place throughout 2023, marking the Warner Bros. centenary.
This included artist collaborations, NFTs, a global music concert series and home entertainment bundles, as well as new content across theatrical and TV.
It also presented 10 awards, with the winners as follows:
- Wizard World Product Range of the Year – The Nobel Collection (hardlines) and Cooneen (softlines)
- DC Product Range of the Year – Spin Master
- TV & Classics – Rubber Road
- Animation – Mad Beauty for its Scooby-Doo range
- Innovation – Cartamundi for its DC NFTs
- 365 Award – Aykroyds & TDP
- Marketing Activation – Just Hype for Harry Potter
- Experience Activation of the Year – Thinkwell/Unify/Fever for the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest
- Newcomer – The Royal Mint for its Happy Potter coin collection
- Licensee of the Year – Paladone
