New babywear collection launches in 50 stores following direct to retail deal by Metrostar.
Rod Campbell’s best selling picture book, Dear Zoo, has inspired a new babywear collection in Marks & Spencer.
Following a direct to retail deal brokered by Metrostar, the range has been launched in 50 stores and online.
It features ten lines including a sleeping bag, blanket, sleep suits, bodysuit sets, bib sets, plus a corduroy dungaree set for boys and a pinafore set for girls.
“The DTR with Marks & Spencer is a very significant coup for Dear Zoo,” said Claire Potter, md of Metrostar.
“It stands alone amongst the other direct to retail licences at Marks & Spencer which are based on major film franchises and global brands, and is a testimony to the consumer appeal of this classic preschool brand.”
Marks & Spencer has stocked the Dear Zoo lift-the-flap puzzle since 2012 and added a puzzle block game and the Dear Zoo Animal Shapes book in 2015.
The puzzles and book products are being merchandised in aisle end displays with the new babywear collection.
