Online shop aims to bring accessible fashion design and sportswear to a wide audience.
Maurizio Distefano Licensing – which has been appointed to manage the worldwide rights for the young Italian stylist Filippo Laterza – has launched a new ecommerce outlet to bring accessible fashion design and sportswear to an even bigger audience.
Filippo has designed for a host of situations, presenting his collections and winning awards across the globe. He has dressed some of the biggest names and worked with brands including Barbie and Angry Birds.
His new line comes as a result of a licensing agreement with Made in Italy Confezioni. The launch of the ecommerce site – www.filippolaterzashop.com – brought with it a collection of ready-to-wear outfits including t-shirts, hoodies and a number of accessories.
For children, the offering goes from two to 12 years old and for adults from size S up to XXXL.
The clothes have been developed using Filippo’s three signature colours – white, black and lilac – and use three main items: the unicorn, the heart and the paper plane.
To launch the new venture, Filippo celebrated with his 81,000 followers on Instagram by creating a new filter – #FilippoLaterzaUnicorn – with the initiative reaching 10,000 views in one day.
