MDR Brand Management secures first deal

Secures strategic tie-up with brand and growth consultancy ZAG.

The brand management arm of leading law company Mishcon de Reya has secured a strategic partnership with brand and growth consultancy ZAG.

MDR Brand Management was established in September and is headed up by former CAA-GBG svp of global brands, Daniel Avener (pictured).

The new alliance with ZAG – which was spun out of creative agency BBH to help clients and start-ups unlock new growth opportunities through brand, business and customer experience led innovation – will help cement MDR Brand Management’s digital-based offering.

It will enable it to offer clients access to key consumer insights, customer acquisition planning and the latest start-up thinking and validation tools.

“Brands now live and breathe in the digital world,” commented Daniel, who is ceo of MDR Brand Management. “Understanding consumer data and validating new products and markets is vital in any brand’s growth strategy.

“Working with ZAG, we can use these tools and technologies to help our clients optimise their growth strategies in the most innovative way.”

Anu Shah, ceo of ZAG and corporate development director at BBH, added: “The partnership with MDR Brand Management enables ZAG to access in-depth expertise around brand extension, franchising and licensing and offer our clients a commercially robust ‘idea to execution’ service, helping our clients develop and implement new growth opportunities on a global basis.”
