Social media event part of 21st anniversary celebrations for Me to You brand.
Moonpig and Carte Blanche Group definitely felt the love from Me to You fans with a special Valentine’s Day-themed social media event.
The Twitter party was held to celebrate the launch of an exclusive Tatty Teddy bear with Moonpig.
It saw parenting bloggers using the hashtag #MeToYou21st to promote key lines including plush, gifts and personalised cards, with some of the products exclusively available at Moonpig.
Followers were also encouraged to share stories of love and friendship.
The campaign achieved a total reach across the hour in excess of 150,000, while there was also a notable sales spike during the evening of the Twitter party, with an increase of more than 96%.
Moonpig’s Sally Eggington said: “Tatty Teddy is an important part of our plush range and a Twitter Party was something we’ve executed successfully before.
“Bringing these two elements together for Valentine’s Day saw some great results – there was a significant sales spike of the featured Tatty Teddy immediately following the party which demonstrates a really active and passionate fan base.
“We’re always looking for ways to better integrate our suppliers in our social media offering so watch this space.”
