New Pokémon video series will tour game locations

Fans are being invited to discover the UK locations which inspired the gaming landscapes.

Pokémon fans are being invited to discover the UK locations which have inspired the landscapes in its games.

A new five-part YouTube video series and downloadable guide book will take fans on the tour from a customised bus, reported Campaign.

The Galar region in Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Sword was apparently modelled on real-world environments and includes landmarks like Stonehenge and Giant’s Causeway.

Presented by Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes, viewers will join them on a tour around the country on board a customised Routemaster bus, visiting some of the locations.

Episodes will also feature an interactive challenge for Trainers at home, with celebrity fans joining Sam and Mark to learn more about the world of Pokémon.

Hope and Glory is delivering the project, Campaign reported.
