WildBrain CPLG has secured a deal on behalf of MGM with contemporary fashion brand LC23 and sportswear company, Diadora, for a footwear collaboration inspired by the Pink Panther. The tie-up sees the launch of two limited edition trainer designs inspired by the character. They offer a fresh take on the Diadora Rebound Ace and Whizz Run styles, featuring bright embroidery style patch appliqués of both Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau.

Beano has partnered with World Book Day to support the Share A Million Stories campaign. A one-off comic strip – called A Million Stories in One – sees Dennis enjoying reading and mashing up classic children’s tales to entertain Bea and Gnasher, in the name of World Book Day. Alongside this, Beano.com will feature a Story-O-Meter which provides kids with the building blocks to create their own stories.

The Asmodee Group is opening up access to its catalogue of IP to more partners in the interactive games market. Tapping into the diverse portfolio of brands and IP – from household names such as Dobble/Spot It, Ticket to Ride and Pandemic to Braintopia, Small World and Legend of the Five Rings – the move will see new interactive entertainment titles powered by the board game company.

Bulldog Licensing is celebrating strong UK ratings success for Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. The agency – which handles the licensing programme for the Zag property in the UK and Eire – reported that TV set viewing figures for single episodes throughout December 2019 consistently reached 160,000 on Pop, soaring to 180,000 in the week of December 9-15. The show also took top spot for the channel every week in December. Meanwhile, the app has reached 70 million+ downloads on iOS and Android globally, with 1.1 million downloads in the UK alone.

Fédération Francaise de Rugby (FFR) – the governing body for rugby union in France – has appointed IMG to be its exclusive global licensing representative inn a multi-year deal extending through to 2024.

US publisher Vault Comics has appointed Reemsborko as the global agent for Heathen, the critically acclaimed and best selling graphic novel series.

All American Licensing has signed Dr Michelle Oakley – the star of Nat Geo Wild TV series, Dr Oakley, Yukon Vet – for brand representation and new product development under the banner, Dr Oakley Wilderness Vet. The series chronicles the adventures of the animal doctor and her three daughters as they make house calls and perform veterinarian practices to an array of domestic and wild animals in and around the remote Yukon territory of Northern Alaska. A portion of each purchase of the product will go to support grassroots wildlife conservation efforts around the world.
