Golden Bear has been appointed the UK and Ireland master toy distributor for the Oddbods toy line. A range of character plush and toys will be released in summer 2016 inspired by the sketch-based CG animated comedy series. ITV Studios Global Entertainment recently acquired the UK licensing rights for the RP2 brand.

eOne is readying Peppa Pig’s entrance into mass market retail in France. Licensed merchandise will be available in nationwide retail chains including Carrefour and all mass market food chains, in addition to Toys R Us, La Grande Recre and Joué Club. France TV Distribution manages the licensing programme in the territory, and currently boasts over 35 licensees. These include Giochi Preziosi, Diset, Hachette Jeunesse and Cijep. In addition, a Peppa Live stage show will debut in France in 2016.

Absolutely Cuckoo’s new preschool show, Wissper is heading to TV screens in Latin America after m4e secured a deal with Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic.

The Hollywood Vampires have partnered with Epic Rights and Global Merchandising Services to create a range of rock-themed apparel, accessories, collectables and wall art among other products. Formed during the 1970s in the Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip, the Hollywood Vampires was an ad hoc collective of some of the era’s biggest rock stars.

Twofour Rights has secured a trio of deals for Toot the Tiny Tugboat, licensing the 2D animation to Disney Australia, Netflix in the UK and the YFE Channel in Germany. The show has also just moved to a new 9am timeslot on Channel 5’s Milkshake and will also run throughout the year on Cartoonito.

The first Moomin shop has opened in Mexico in the Mall Galerias Guadalajara. Licensed products are now arriving in the territory, and it is believed that in the future there will be products made in Mexico under the Moomin Characters licence.

Bulls Licensing has partnered with Apple Corps for a collaboration between The Beatles and Efva Attling jewellery. A new collection will be based on selected titles from the band, coming in silver and gold with sparkling stones from Herkimer. It will be sold from November 20 at Efva Attling Concept stores and at selected retailers in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK and the US.
