New collaboration from fashion retailer is raising awareness of furry friends in need.
High street fashion retailer Oasis has teamed up with animal charity Blue Cross.
The new collaboration is aiming to help raise awareness for our furry friends in need.
From its hospitals to its rehoming services, Blue Cross has been keeping pets happy for over 120 years, looking after around 40,000 abandoned, unwanted, ill or injured pets every year – and Oasis has taken inspiration from some of its former residents to put together the collection.
Cats and dogs – including Harvey the dalmatian, dachshund William, Flora and cats Rupert, Victoria and Prince – are featured across jumpers, shirt and skater dresses, shirts and scarves.
“We heard some of the most heart-warming stories about the pets that Blue Cross had rescued, so we decided to make them the sartorial heroes of our latest collection,” the retailer explained on its website.
Sally de la Bedoyere, chief executive of Blue Cross, told the Worcester News – which ran a piece on Harvey starring in the collection – that she hopes Oasis customers love the range as much as they do.
“We are delighted that Oasis chose our charity to benefit with this unique new range of pet-themed clothing and gifts – all inspired by the heart-warming stories of real cats and dogs who came to Blue Cross needing our help,” Sally said.
