Panini partners with MovieStarPlanet

Company will launch trading card collection in Poland following deal with Halo Brands Group.

MovieStarPlanet has partnered with Panini to launch a trading card collection for MovieStarPlanet2 in Poland, following a deal with Halo Brands Group.

The trading card collection includes 220 different card designs in six categories. These are based on key elements from the game including BFF Cards, Theme Cards and Diamond Cards. There are also transparent cards which aim to mirror the creativity and self expression from the MovieStarPlanet universe, giving collectors the chance to play dress up and create different looks.

In addition, each pack of cards also includes a redeem code which gives access to collectable fashion items on MovieStarPlanet 2.

“Poland has always manifested as a great market for our licensing products,” commented Marie Bruhn Sørensen, marketing director at MovieStarPlanet. “The MovieStarPlanet magazine, published by Egmont, is approaching its ninth year on the market. We believe the Panini trading cards have all the ingredients to become a success and aspire to a possible expansion to more markets.”
