Penguin division expands DC Entertainment deal

Deal with Penguin Random House Publisher Services now includes UK and Ireland.

Penguin Random House Publisher Services has extended its long standing 10-year sales and distribution deal with DC Entertainment to include the UK and Ireland.

The expansion will come into effect from September 1, reports The Bookseller.

PRHPS provides sales and distribution services to independent publishers on a global basis.

DC Entertainment – home to the likes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman – is the largest English-language publisher of comics in the world.

John Cunningham, svp of sales and trade marketing at DC Entertainment, commented: “Our long standing partnership with PRH has been a critical element of DCE’s publishing successes in recent years.

“Extending that partnership is equally critical for DCE’s growth in the future, as we add new products to our line.”
