Primark teams with (RED) to support AIDS fight

Part of proceeds from new dedicated collection will be donated to the cause.

Fashion retailer Primark has teamed up with (RED) to support the Global Fund’s fight against HIV and AIDS.

Part of the proceeds of a dedicated collection will be donated to the cause, reported TheIndustry.Fashion. 10% of all sales (or a minimum of £750,000) will be donated to the Global Fund to end AIDS.

The (PRIMARK) RED collection will include menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and accessories and will have an athleisure theme.

“Through the collection, we will support programmes that deliver prevention, testing, treatment, counselling and care services in sub-Saharan Africa,” said Paul Marchant, ceo at Primark.

Jennifer Lotito, coo at (RED), added: “The collection makes it possible for Primark customers to get fashion-forward clothing and accessories that not only look great but also help save lives.”
